As grant and research development professionals, we often use logic models as a way to organize and picture the planned work and intended results of a grant-funded project. However, logic models can also be used to visualize the research-related resources, activities, deliverables, and outcomes that are often central to institutional strategic plans and research developers. In this session we will explore the use of logic models as a method to promote strategic research mindsets at both the individual and institutional levels and consider the implications of conceptual and operational logic models for organizationl change and operation.
